Construction planning & WPP/TBS support

Construction plans.
Connected to the railway interface.

Preparation, review and coordination support for Work Package Plans (WPPs), Task Briefing Sheets (TBSs) and railway-interface construction information.

Organise the construction information

We help developers and contractors bring together the proposed method, sequence and specialist information for works beside the railway. The documents, format and review route are agreed around the scheme.

What the service can include

  • WPP and TBS preparation or review within an agreed scope.
  • Coordination of contractor methods, plant proposals and relevant design inputs.
  • Tracking review comments, revisions and outstanding actions.
  • Updates when the works or site arrangements change.

Confirm which documents apply

Not every private development beside the railway has the same document requirements. We review the project arrangements and requirements raised by Network Rail and the contractor before agreeing the deliverables.

Keep construction interfaces connected

Cranes, piling, excavations and working platforms can introduce specialist inputs. We coordinate these with the proposed method and programme; specialist design and checking remain with the appointed parties.

Preparation, review and approval are distinct

Document support does not transfer responsibility for planning, managing or delivering the works away from the contractor. Approvals and engineering appointments must be scoped separately, with suitable competence and relevant project acceptance.

Start with the proposed works

Bring the location, programme, current method information, drawings and any document requirements or review comments. We agree who supplies each input and who prepares, reviews and approves the documents.
