Privacy notice

How we handle website visits and project enquiries.

Last updated: 15 October 2026.

Who to contact

This notice covers the Mirello Rail website and enquiries made to Mirello Rail. For questions about your personal information, contact [email protected].

Information you provide

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, organisation, site location, project outline, target dates and any attachments or correspondence. Please send only information relevant to your enquiry and avoid unnecessary sensitive personal information.

How the enquiry form works

When direct submission is available, pressing Submit enquiry sends the entered details through our website to our enquiries mailbox using Resend, our email delivery provider. Otherwise the form is labelled Prepare email enquiry and opens your own email application; you must send that email yourself. Entering information alone does not submit it. The download option creates a text file on your device; downloading it does not send it to us.

Why we use your information

We use enquiry information to respond, understand the proposed project, prepare proposals and maintain relevant correspondence. Our legitimate interests are responding to business enquiries and managing prospective client relationships. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, we may also use information for those pre-contract steps. An enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.

Service providers and sharing

The website is hosted through Cloudflare, our mailbox uses Google Workspace, and direct website enquiries use Resend for email delivery. These providers process information to deliver their services. Hosting and security services may process technical details such as IP addresses, request times and browser information. Where a project requires another specialist or organisation to be involved, we will explain the proposed sharing and share only information necessary for that purpose. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Cookies and international processing

The website code does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts or cookies for marketing. Cloudflare may use security-related technology to protect its services. Service providers may process information outside the UK under their applicable data protection arrangements. Further details are available in the Cloudflare privacy policy and Google privacy policy.

Keeping information

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry, relevant follow-up and any resulting work, taking account of legal obligations and the need to establish or defend claims. Retention depends on whether an enquiry progresses into a project. You can contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact [email protected] to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our website or handling of personal information changes.
