Make the interfaces visible
Railway-adjacent developments can involve civil, structural, geotechnical and temporary works designers alongside other specialists. We coordinate interdisciplinary checks and reviews around the agreed scheme assurance arrangements.
What the service can include
- Identifying disciplines, interfaces and information dependencies.
- Planning IDC/IDR activities and coordinating document circulation.
- Facilitating review meetings within an agreed remit.
- Recording comments, decisions, action owners and target dates.
- Tracking responses and evidence of close-out.
- Coordinating further reviews when designs change.
Agree the process for the scheme
We confirm the applicable check and review stages, terminology, participants, outputs and acceptance arrangements with the project team.
Technical responsibility remains explicit
Each designer remains responsible for their design. Technical checking, certification and acceptance sit with appropriately appointed people. Facilitating a review or maintaining a comment register does not itself provide technical approval.
Connect reviews to submissions
We connect actions to the design deliverables and submission schedule, making unresolved interfaces visible before packages are issued. This can work alongside separately scoped CEM and CRE support.
Bring the current design position
Start with the design team structure, drawings, programme, deliverables and outstanding comments. We agree which reviews are needed and who records and closes each action.
